Goals
The program is designed to cover the pathobiology of a wide spectrum of neoplastic disorders with emphasis on innovative diagnostic tools. The conference will focus on molecular mechanism for malignant transformation and classification of neoplasms, with particular emphasis on the state-of-the-art for molecular testing and molecular diagnosis in Pathology, targets for therapy in different tumor types, and other specific applications in clinical practice. Particular attention will be given to recently described entities and classification systems, as well as prognostic and predictive markers with their personalized treatment options.
The information provided in the conference should lead to increased physician competence and performance as well as improvement in patient outcomes.
