Within the lines of providing support and care for the cancer patient, various specialists and nursing staff from our cancer center in Madrid will take part in talks, activities and workshops during the congress. The main aim of their collaboration is to approach patients with cancer to allay their doubts about their illness and to help improve their quality of life by giving information on new clinical advances and healthcare techniques.
The meeting, to be held on November 9, 10 and 11 at the Palacio de Congresos in Madrid, seeks to become a forum among patients, their families and healthcare professionals to exchange useful, contrasted information, in addition to sharing their personal experiences.
Dr. Eduardo Ortíz Cruz, Head of MD Anderson Madrid – Hospiten Traumatology Department will participate as an invited speaker on november 10th giving a conference about surgical aspects of sarcoma.
